Meet Our Team

Whole Life Chiropractic Chiropractic Assistant, ZinaZina, Chiropractic Assistant

My name is Zina Mungo. I am from Monroe, NC and now reside in the Raleigh-Durham area. I graduated from NC State University in 2013 with a degree in Criminology and a minor in Forensic Science. I originally started my chiropractic journey in 2015 however, I took a break to help at risk youth through not only employment but also volunteer work. After a couple of years working with youth, in 2017 I decided to return to chiropractic care with Whole Life Chiropractic where I was able to get certified as a Chiropractic Assistant and a Radiologic Technologist. Another important task that I am responsible for in the office is handling all insurance inquiries for patients.

My favorite part about my career is being able to help others to achieve optimal function of their body while teaching them about holistic changes they can make in their everyday lifestyle. I would have to say another favorite part of my career is interacting with our young patients as I love children and hope to one day have some of my own.

I enjoy reading articles about ways to obtain and maintain a healthy lifestyle, blogging/updating friends and family about my personal journeys throughout the year, singing karaoke, playing, dancing and napping with my puppy, Lola. One reason I believe I fit in well with the environment here at Whole Life Chiropractic is because it is such a loving and caring environment and my natural love for people in general helps me to fit in perfectly with my colleague Michelle and the awesome patients that enter the doors daily.

Michelle, Chiropractic Assistant

Whole Life Chiropractic Chiropractic Assistant, MichelleMy name is Michelle and I am from Durham NC. I got my degree in Criminology with a focus in behavioral science. My first experience with chiropractic care was in 2016 for treatment of my lower back pain. Ever since my first appointment I became an advocate for chiropractic care to all my friends and family.

I joined the Whole Life Chiropractic family in 2018 with the goal of helping everyone in our community achieve optimal function of their body. I went on to obtain certification as a chiropractic assistant as well as becoming a radiologic technologist. My role in the office includes triage, initiating therapies for patients, taking x-rays, and scheduling patients.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs and family and baking sweet treats. What I enjoy the most about being with Whole Life Chiropractic is the environment built around family values and building strong relationships between the staff and our patients.
